Upon arrival at Maun Airport, board a short Safari Air flight to Leroo La Tau Airstrip (approx. 30 minutes). You’ll be welcomed at the airstrip by lodge staff and transferred to Leroo La Tau Lodge, overlooking the Boteti River. Settle in, enjoy a hearty lunch or afternoon tea, and prepare for your first shared safari activity.

Spend the next two days exploring the Makgadikgadi region with a blend of exciting game drives and cultural encounters. Mornings begin early with game drives offering sightings of desert-adapted wildlife such as meerkats, brown hyenas, and more. Depending on water levels, enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the Boteti River. Cultural excursions to local communities provide insight into the lifestyle of the San people. In the afternoon, set out on another game drive to discover nocturnal creatures.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your Safari Air flight to the heart of the Okavango Delta (approx. 45 minutes). Upon arrival at the Delta airstrip, you’ll take a short walk to your camp. Settle into your accommodation and enjoy an afternoon shared safari activity, such as a mokoro excursion or guided walk.

Wake up early to the sounds of the delta and head out for your morning safari. Activities include mokoro (dugout canoe) rides, boat safaris, nature walks, birdwatching, and seasonal fishing.
